The Motorola MC45 Mobile Computer was built to help your mobile workers in the field improve their ability to service customers while increasing productivity. With 3.5G cellular and 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi capabilities, workers can use the MC45 handheld computer to access data in real-time from virtually anywhere. The built-in 1D barcode scanner with Adaptive Scan Technology allows barcodes to be scanned as far as 15 feet away, while the built-in 3.2 MP camera supports both picture taking as well 1D and 2D barcode scanning.
Some of the key features of the Motorola MC45 handheld computer include an outdoor viewable 3.5″ QVGA screen, integrated GPS, 3.5G HSDPA (Quad Band GPRS/EDGE) support and a ARM 11 Processor (600 MHz) with 256MB RAM/1GB Flash memory. The MC45 features the Microsoft Embedded Handheld 6.5 Professional Operating system.
The Motorola MC45 may also be referred to as the Symbol MC45 as Motorola acquired Symbol in 2006; it may also be referred to as the Zebra MC45 as Zebra then acquired the enterprise mobility business from Motorola in 2014.
Field Durable: With a 5-foot drop rating and IP64 sealing, this device is built to withstand the everyday drops that happen as part of life out in the field. Just as importantly, the MC45 mobile computer was designed to work in a broad range of operating temperatures – from 14F to 122F.
Advanced Barcode Scanning: Motorola’s industry leading scan engine with Adaptive Scan technology can scan barcodes from near contact to as far as 15 ft away even if they are dirty, damaged or poorly printed. 2D Barcode can be read with the built-in Auto-focus 3.2MP camera.
Connectivity “Inside-And-Outside”: With 3.5 GSM HSDPA for cellular communications and 802.1/b/g for Wi-Fi communications, workers can access data in real-time virtually anywhere
GPS: The MC45 includes integrated, autonomous and assisted-GPS so workers can get real-time directions and utilize geo-stamps that automatically capture information for applications
Best-In-Class Battery Life: With the most battery of devices in its class, the MC45 handheld computer can be used full a full work shirt, even in wireless or scan-intensive environments
